Torquay Tourism Think Tank Luncheon

This is YOUR invitation to an exclusive 'Torquay Tourism Think Tank' facilitated by Torquay Commerce and Tourism to be held on Friday 12th October at the Kurrambee Myaring Community Centre.

The Think Tank session includes a delicious lunch and is invitation only. We have invited the movers and shakers in the Torquay tourism sector. It will be a snappy two hour session where we will specifically discuss and identify key actions moving forward that include:

1. Is tourism one dimensional in Torquay?
2. Do we rely too much on the surfing industry as a key tourism attraction?
3. Do too many visitors bypass Torquay? If so, how do we get them to stop, stay and spend?
4. As a business community are we united in our identity and vision for Torquay and the visitor economy?
5. Do we use all of our natural and man-made assets adequately and to their fullest potential?
6. Is it possible for our business community to work together to create the best tourist destination all year round? And indeed, do Torquay businesses want that?
7. What have we missed – are there other key factors that need consideration?

We want to hear your opinions and not only that we want real action to take place.
